Sharing the burdens of my heart!

Just loving the heat these last few weeks as summer goes into full swing. I am thankful for a cool house at night and that cooking although important has been easier as everyone seems to be, not as hungry. The days are longer, we have family here from Alberta and life is fun and full of laughter.
For all of those who are not handling the heat I will pray for you, and those that work outside in the heat that God will give you restoration and replenish your stores, so working is not so difficult.
I love seeing the children at Lewis Park, tubing the river, and running around building sand castles at the beach. I love summer get-togethers and camping.

Please remember as we eat all the great summer fare, berries, fresh veggies, and BBQ's with friends, to pray for all those with not enough to eat.
Committing to carry the burden of the dad's and mom's here in the valley and around the world that do not know how they will feed their children today.
Be thankful for all we have and join with me today as we celebrate God's provision in our lives and call in abundance in places we have never seen and believe in faith that today they will be blessed. To our Christian brothers and sisters around the world may you share the good news today and shine the light of hope in someone life.
1 Thessalonians 1:3 (The Message)
Every time we think of you, we thank God for you. Day and night you're in our prayers as we call to mind your work of faith, your labor of love, and your patience of hope in following our Master, Jesus Christ, before God our Father. It is clear to us, friends, that God not only loves you very much but also has put his hand on you for something special.
From my burdened heart for the lost, the hungry and the weary.

  1. Oh, I miss tubing down the cool river on a hot summer's day!

Love your post and am in total agreement with your prayers. We are in no way lacking but see it as we travel. Sometimes poverty and lack is so overwhelming that all one can do is pray. Appreciate your blog and your heart.
