Well you have found me here. Funny how one year can make such a big difference in the lives of some people. I count myself to be one of the blessed!
I left 2011 and this blog to move onto the year of excitement. I thought I would write about our adoption journey under a separate blog because I prayed I would not be " adopting" forever. I prayed the carry me branding would be for a time and then I could go back to life just happens.
I hoped and prayed that 2012 would be the year that our girls would come home. It was and and top of all that excitement to our family a child was born and we became grandparents once again!
So then as 2012 was coming to a close I realized it was just easier to keep www.carryme.ca and although life still happens, around here things looked a whole lot different.
I am so thankful for so many things but this post is thankfulness for my family.
I wish I could name each and every one but that would be boring, and I wish I could tell you a little bit about each and every one but that may get hysterical. We are a bunch of nuts. We love to laugh, we love to sing and play music, we love to eat, and we love a good joke. Laughing and fun was how we finished off 2012...our littles made snow angels in the snow after jumping out of the hot tub...they shrieked and laughed and did it again and again. In the dark, it was hard to see the imprints, but I am sure their warm little backs and butts made impressions frozen in time for us to laugh again in the morning. I have to admit I polished off a disgusting amount of mixed nuts and chocolate covered macadamias. The night was young, I had blog issues and was chatting to a lady named Dolly on tech support!
In 2011 when this blog finished I re read all the blogs of the year. Some of them were pretty darn good. Tonight I re read a few favorites. I like to be real, I like to laugh at myself, I like to talk out loud to each of you and I like to share in my personal growth in my walk with Jesus.
This blog may morph a little cause life has LOL, but I never wanted to write a how to adopt, a how to live post adoption, how to do this or how to do that, or on any one topic.
So stay with me as the journey continues...this time as a mom of five and grandmother of three.....Fifty has surely got to be the new 40! All I had to do is believe!
